1. Our Services
Finicky Neat provides residential housekeeping, pet sitting, and house sitting services as described on our Site or as agreed upon directly with a client. Specific scope, pricing, and scheduling for a given engagement are confirmed individually with each client and may be documented separately (for example, in a quote, invoice, or service agreement), which supplements these Terms.
2. Booking, Scheduling, and Cancellations
- Appointments should be requested through our Site, by phone, or by email, and are confirmed once we respond to acknowledge the booking.
- We ask for reasonable advance notice to schedule or reschedule a visit.

- Provide accurate information about any pets in the home, including behavioral concerns, medical needs, and emergency veterinary contact information
- Secure or disclose the location of valuables, medications, and hazardous materials
- Ensure the premises are reasonably safe for our staff to enter and perform Services
- Notify us promptly of any change in circumstances relevant to a scheduled visit (for example, a pet’s illness, a change in household members, or a home repair in progress)
5. Our Commitment
We aim to perform Services with reasonable care and in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. Our staff are instructed to follow the access, pet care, and safety instructions provided by clients. If an unexpected issue arises during a visit (for example, a pet emergency or a maintenance issue discovered in the home), we will make reasonable efforts to contact the client and, where appropriate, emergency contacts provided by the client.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Finicky Neat is not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or conditions in the home or property that existed prior to our visit.
- We are not liable for a pet’s illness, injury, escape, or death that is not the direct result of our negligence, particularly where it results from a pet’s pre-existing medical condition, an incomplete or inaccurate disclosure by the client, or an act outside our reasonable control.
- Our liability for any claim arising from our Services is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (for example, severe weather, road closures, or emergencies).
